Making a Complaint

Anyone wishing to make a complaint may do so in writing to the Integrity Commission. Persons making complaints should note that it is an offence to knowingly and mischievously make a false report to the Commission. Section 32 (2) of the Integrity in Public Life Act says: “Any person who knowingly and mischievously makes or causes to be made a false report to the Commission or misleads the Commission by giving false information or by making false statements or accusations shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars and a term of imprisonment not exceeding five years.”
