Notice to Persons in Public Life of their Requirements to file Declarations of Income, Assets and Liabilities and Statements of Registrable Interests for 2011
Persons in Public Life are reminded that they have an obligation to file declarations of their income, assets and liabilities for the year ended December 31, 2011, by May 31, 2012 in accordance with Sections 11 (1) and 14 (1) of the Integrity in Public Life Act, which states –
Section 11. (1) “A person shall, within three months of becoming a Person in Public Life, complete and file with the Commission in the prescribes form, a declaration of his income, assets and liabilities in respect of the previous year and, thereafter, on 31st May in each succeeding year that he is a Person in Public Life, he shall file further declarations of his income, assets and liabilities”…
