The Information Technology (IT) Unit is a key enabler for optimal functionality. It continues to provide an efficient, stable, productive, secure and customer-focused environment, defined under its five (5) major functional areas:
Supporting multiple forms of communication for the organization including phone, email and video conferencing.
Includes the collection, transfer, storage and backup of data for the organization.
Management of the security of the network and networked systems, including the organization’s data assets; whether stored or in-transit.
Managing customer issues relating to IT systems to ensure optimal productivity.
Improving business processes or operations by providing IT-optimized methods of doing same.
